Last night - around 11pm Nathan was rushed to Sick Kids for a abdominal distension - meaning fat belly.
He wasn't pooping - so all the farts were backing up. They have really fancy names for these things - but I am trying to spare the jargon.
The causes for this can be numerous - the most panicking (and least likely) is cystic fibrosis.
The most likely - Hirschsprung's Disease -
He is stable - after releaving the pressure the immediate danger has passed. Now comes all the tests and waiting.
Probable outcome right now: surgery.
